Influences: Ok bands that influence me in a massive way!?Early stuf; ELVIS COSTELLO, BLONDIE, BOOMTOWN RATS, POLICE, THE BEAT (mirror in the bathroom!), THE SPECIALS, THE BEATLE'S(second album, none of that fuckin hippy shit sgt peppers) lotsa 50s close harmony stuff EVERLY BROTHERS, BEACH BOYS!, HANK MARVIN, DUANE EDDY...Contemporary;M.C.R., TAKING BACK SUNDAY, P.J.HARVEY (the atmosphere within her songs is just....) , THE WONDERSTUFF (8 l'gd groove machine), FAITH NO MORE (especially epic) DEFTONES, NOFX, ME FIRST & THE GIMME GIMMIES), GARBAGE, WEAZER(love the first two albums)...N a mahoosive bucket load of other stuff!!
Sounds Like: Well take those early influencesie costello,blondie n other late 70s early 80s popish skaish new wave.give it the gtrs n sound scape of the DEFTONES, samples n strings aca garbage. vocaly Lennon, Cobain, Costello, Chris Isac (lower tones). I generally like songs with a twist sharp wit n sarcasm, not taking the most obveous or first idea that comes along.....well thats the general idea anyway.
