Present Starkey Stu and Chris A.K.A Bad Moon
OLM-So Bad Moon how are ya.
B.D-Starkey-yeah good thanks hows you.
OLM-super.So how did the band come to be?
B.D-Starkey-Well naturally i guess.i started jamming with some friends and i met Nicholas*Bad Moons original Drummer* and we started working together and called it Bad Moon.It started off pretty low key just jamming hanging out then we kinda got used to the fact we were really into the vibe and then we met Stu through a mutual friend and things have been kinda snowballing and rolling along since then,
OLM-And we understand Nicholas passed on.
B.D-Starkey-yeah *pauses* he passed of terminal cancer at the end of last year.
OLM-i guess to call it a shock would be somewhat of an understatement.
B.D-Starkey-well yeah *long pause followed by a sigh*you know its like how do you *pauses* how do you deal with this how do you cope whats the deal here, it was and still is a crazy time to look back on like being caught in the eye of the storm but still feeling like your gonna wake up and *pauses* uknow all will be good,Very dream like.Very hazy.
OLM-Did you think about splitting up the band.
B.D-Starkey-Well yeah many times that's the thing we talked with Nick about it before he passed and he wanted us to keep going.
OLM-And you have
B.D-Starkey-Well haha yeah *smiles* it wasn't quite that simple i mean Nick was my kinda main man you know we started playing together over 4 years ago so to try and replace my songwriting muse is a fucking messy thing i didn't think we could go on. You know i mean to find a guy who's not a cock uknow the right guy the right time the right style its all kind of a mess.
B.D-Stu-Then Chris comes along and fits right in like hes always been here.
B.D-Starkey-What can i say*pauses*crazy life we live in.
B.D-Chris-yeah who knows what can come of replying to a myspace status update.I heard the songs liked um and thought the sound was really cool and that id love to play on them.
OLM-So Ive read alot about your influences can you help us on that?
B.M-Stu-*laughing*umm not really .
B.M-Chris-A bit of everything
B.M-Starkey-It is really anything with something to say and *pauses* passion anything that really gives a fuck about what there doing uknow what there singing about.
B.M-Stu-Which seems a touch rare these days.
OLM-Can you give us names.
B.M-*all* OOOH hahahaha.
B.M-Stu-Its really just the fact we all come from different places.
B.M-Starkey-Yeah i mean Stu's kinda rockabilly guy Chris is metal guy and i guess im Mr alternative.

OLM-How does Bad Moon write?
B.D-Stu-Christian jams some songs then brings them to the table and..
B.D-Chris-We fuck with um.

OLM-So fanzines we have noticed don't seem to get the moon?
B.M-*all*hahaha
B.M-Chris-Na fuck um.
B.M-Stu-Theirs been one or two that do.
B.M-Starkey-You know at the end of the day if your gonna write for a fanzine or a website do your job,Dont start thinking we give a fuck weather you think The E.P name is stupid cause its none of your fucking business.*laughs* I mean 99% of fanzine reviews you can tell they haven't had the time or overview or in most cases don't listen to more then one and a half songs to give a mature view.*laughs* i dunno same shit different zine.
B.M-Stu-Most of these fanzines are metal related any how so there just gonna pick a moan and go with it.
B.M-Chris-Water of a ducks back we find them funny.
OLM-So why do you think this is can it be explained?
B.M-Starkey-Well i have a theory music these days is a packaged chocolate bar its a wrapper with a factory made peace of spineless shit inside.
B.M-Stu-yeah i mean today its all about people wanting to be famous its not about the tunes or the music its about money and fame.
B.M-Chris-*Adopts Simon Cowell voice*Why do you want to be a singer. Because i want to be on the telly and have money its been my dream for years.
B.M-Starkey-Yeah really, that's why you did piss all about it except whore your self to be a one hit wonder.
B.M-*all Laugh*
B.M-Starkey-as im sure you can tell its not something we understand its just kinda today's society.
B.M-Stu-It just seems to be music in general over the last 8 years or so has lost its soul its bland its got nothing to say its all to produced and polished and perfect.
B.M-Chris-Its all covered in pro tools
B.M-Starkey-True i think it comes down to the fact no one seems to have anything to say there's no meaning in music i mean i don't give a cock end if there's a monster coming over the hill.
B.M-Chris-*laughing*Or who looks good on the dance floor.
B.M-Stu-Theirs a whole generation of music fans with nothing to listen to at the moment i think that's the point.
B.M-Starkey-Yeah tis true i mean this has happen before music came back and *pauses* swept it all away i know there's a lot of fans and bands hoping the same thing comes along and you know kinda unlocks some excitement and makes things interesting again.
B.M-Chris- we know of a few bands that will be knocking down doors with a point to prove real soon.
OLM-Well cant really disagree with your argument.So what next for Bad Moon?
B.M-Chris-Well with got some cool gigs booked and some really interesting stuff going on behind the scenes
B.M-Stu-Were recording a new E.p around may time which will be the first with this line up.
B.M-Starkey-Yeah things are going good *pauses* real good you'll see.
OLM-Well knowing what Bad Moon has experienced and done up to now it seems to this scribe anyway that this really could be the beginning of an amazing story for bad moon i found them friendly and thoughtful and full of humor but with a strange captivating underside of mystique.
Id Advise you keep one eye on the moon because its on the move..
