he's from Naples Italy 25th july 1959

1970 : he has his first plastic guitar, a Sperlari wich has good candies inside! :-)))

1974 : he starts to play a real guitar

1975 : he plays his first gig with L'ora e la data, a band that includes guitarist Alfredo Venosa "Red Baron", Alfredo is currently a very talented composer and bass player, touring with neapolitan star Nino D'Angelo. Other musicians are Giovanni Giordano on drums and Alfonso "Bombolone" on bass :-D
Others very very good friends playing with him are Enzo Borrelli, Geppino Tene, both on guitar and Mario Lupone on drums.

1976 : he starts to play bass with local neapolitan singersand different bands

1979 : he moves to Geneva with two musicians from Barra, Naples: one's pianist Massimo Volpe currently an internationally acclaimed musician, composer, arranger and keboards master touring currently with "Renzo Arbore e l'Orchestra Italiana". The drummer is the mitic Tonino Paperino aka Tony Ciaravolo. ;-)

1980 : he founds his own band Diapason touring in Switzerland and Europe he's now arranger and bass player, musicians includes over the years:

Pianists: Gianni Manco, Paolo Rossi and Massimo Bonomo, Massimo is an excellent jazz pianist and a very good friend.

Guitarists: Michele Montefusco who becames famous and acclaimed later, but with other bands :-)) touring currently with "Renzo Arbore e l'Orchestra Italiana" see his myspace page for more :
Other guitarists are Norbert Pastor and Gérard De La Rosa.


1981 : he has his first fretless bass, an Ibanez Musician :-)


1982 : he tours with rock swiss band Overdrive
he joins Opera 5, personnel includes Mauro Mancini on drums, Rudi Mercuriali on sax and keys, Franco Catalano on piano and keyboards and Enzo Ilardi on guitar.

1983 : he has his first child, a BOY! :-))

1985 : he plays with Christian Chevalley, a very good guitarist and digital delay master, he's from France... well nobody is perfect! SALUT CHRISTI-CHOU!! :-)))

1987 : he has his second child, a GIRLl! :-))

He has a Vigier Passion bass a beautiful instrument!! Actually the word "Vigier" in french has the same sound of one of his short names in neapolitan "Viciè" so, anyway he MUST have a Vigier, with Passion ;-)

1992 : he founds Abakua with pianist Massimo Bonomo and top drummer, awesome percussionist, brilliant vibraphonist... well with him you got three musicians for the price of one, yes I'm talking about Rony Man sacré sacré!!! :-))

1993 : he has his first six string bass, a Carvin LB76 :-)

1994 : he tours with trumpet virtuoso Daniele Verdesca latin project. Plays with outstanding swiss singer Christine Shaller

1995 : he collaborates with swiss funk-soul band Friends & Co

1996 : he tours with brilliant composer and saxophonist Gilles Torrent

1997 : he tours with gifted brasilian guitarist Wahington Espinola and plays with beautiful and talentend brasilian singer Diana Miranda

2005 : he collaborates with swiss funk-soul band Friends & Co

2007 : he tours with percussionist Rony Man and spanish talented guitarist Luis Fernandez


NEW! He decides to open a myspace account, there he meet some beautiful musicians and friends... he starts to record, nowadays he's on a fretless solo bass project...
