Nidia Ortiz comes from the Dominican Republic and now she lives in Germany.
Enjoy her wonderful voice and music!
When Nidia was a little girl she was listening to the latin - music that was surrounding her all the time, and as her father is a professional guitar-player, she also listend to classical music.
Grown up in a christian family, Nidia uses to sing spirituals and gospels at church scince she was 8 y.o..
All these different musical styles that were influencing her, gave her that large variety of her music.
She sings latin/ latin-lounge and nu-jazz, soul and gospel, pop, ethno-pop, rockpop and funk.
Nidia loves to perform her music as well as doing studiojobs.
