Low Rider

Since 1995 the band Low Rider from Minden (Germany) inspires with Funk-, Soul- and Jazz music. The compositions and arrangements are an unforgettable experience and with their funky and soulful grooves the music of Low Rider is compareable with it from Funk icons like Maceo Parker or Fred Wesley. Original the band was founded by the two saxophonists Jens Voss and Kai Niedermeier, also by the bass man Matthias Roitsch and the drummer Andre Deterding. After a few changes the band was 2002 completed by the new musician Benjamin Ochs on guitar. 2006 the great Dalia Ferreirinha da Silva on voice came in the band and with her a new spirit. Now, at least Philipp Huchzermeier is the "new one". He is a talented keyboard player.
