You may download songs or purchase DEEPER MEANINGS directly from ITUNES I've been a musician all of my life except before the age of ten I thought I was a baseball player, a pilot, a high flying trapeze artist, a sword fighter, an adventurer, an army man; in short all of those things kids dream of after going to the Saturday afternoon matinees. None of those stuck but playing the guitar sure did. What a passion I've always had for the guitar and for singing. I played professionally during the Seventies and early eighties between NYC and Philadelphia. All during this time I wrote songs but never performed them live. It wasn't until much later beginning in 1995 that my wife JJ (harmonica) and I spent the next seven years playing coffee houses as the band JJ Slim on the left coast between LA and San Diego. Every song I played was an original tune. Out this incredible time we produced a CD ONE SHINING STAR Finally I could play my music and see that it held up just as well as cover tunes. As a songwriter I am relentless. The music flows easily and freely expressing what I feel about most in the moment. Currently I am writing both instrumentals and vocals in my music because in both ways I am able to express the intangible that moves me and makes me who I am. Music is nothing without sharing which is why I love to perform and to have people listen to my music. There are four songs here to listen to and I'll be switching these out regularly to showcase new material and bring to your attention some of those songs I've written throughout the years that I consider timeless. Each of the Seventeen Songs in this groove rich Album is a delight to experience.Music is a constant source of meditation for me. All of my songs come out of that deepest part through which we are all connected. This connection is really self defined because in the end no words can really describe it yet the music comes closest to how it feels and that feeling is why I write and why I play.
