His musical influences are eclectic, and deep layers of timbres and textures are a hallmark of his arrangements, and orchestrations. Peter is also an in-demand re-mixer and producer/ songwriter with a client list that spans generations of musical excellence. From Dennis Edwards, Eddie Kendrix and Stanley Turrentine, to Jill Scott, Brian Mcknight, John Sykes and Darius Rucker etc...Born in the South Side of Chicago, Peter became an only child when his twin died at birth. His mother was a teacher and an outstanding musician who started young Peter on the piano at age 3. He was introduced to the guitar at age 15, and working professionally by 16 in blues clubs.At age 18, Peter ventured into the Chicago recording scene as a keyboard player, and his first session, JM Silks “Music is the Key†, became an international hit. Peter went on to play on most of Chicago's successful "House music" records, which lead to many other opportunities, including executive positions at two major labels.Peter has been a featured guest artist and writer on many other projects. His composition "Motor Bike" was featured in the Olson Twins motion picture "Passport to Paris". Most recently he performed on the Hidden Beach Records "Unwrapped" - Volumes 2, 3 and 4" with a stellar cast of musicians. He is currently featured on Jill Scotts' grammy winning "Collaborations" bonus c.d.. ..
