ACTRESS, VOCAL RESEARCHER. Graduate with a thesis on “Cultural Anthropologyâ€, entitled "The Voice in the Imagery of the Signsâ€, thesis advisor: the poet and translator Roberto Sanesi.
After a time devoted to painting and Body Art she spent time researching voice and body gesticulation.She is the founder of the artistic-cultural Association “The Sky on the Ground†whose aim is to promulgate theatre “contaminated†by other arts.In 1998, after an audition she was accepted into the avant garde American group "Living Theatre" and took part in several performances: "A Day in the City Life " and "Happening for Julian Beck".
Following this, she collaborated with Gary Brackett, a famous American actor of the Living Theatre, in the organization of theatrical stages and shows.
She attended an actors’ workshop with Mamadou Diume the famous actor from director Peter Brook’s staff.
In 1999, she was chosen along with selected other Italian actors by the director Emir Kusturica for cinema workshop in Bari.
She appeared in a TV advertisement for Italian “Bolla Wines†which was shown in the American market.
Subsequently, she became interested in multimedia, with performance art and readings in song, thereby blending actors’ gestures and vocals with the language of music, cooperating with a variety of different types of musicians, including ethnic and classical music, jazz, rock, popular music of the radical American era.
On various occasions, she has re-invented texts of authors from all over the world , including contemporary classics, and has created several reading-shows performed in various Italian musical and theatrical settings.

She performed a freely drawn version of "Walls" by Anna Ceravolo which went on air for the first time on "Art Day" on the Match Music satellite channel.Engaged in social activities, she has collaborated with Amnesty International by acting an extract of the play "Walls" by Anna Ceravolo; with Lega Ambiente "The Nuclear Tragedy of Hiroshima"; she has done a street show "theatre and music about Tupakamaru"; she also took part in a convention about "Prison and Society" by performing a collection of poems by the lifer Vincenzo Andraus.
She was invited to join the show "Sphere Music" to prepare and act in a theatrical-musical performance entitled "Barò Romanò Drom" together with the prestigious flamenco guitar player Paco Suarez (Italian premiere).
For the show “Music of the roots†she did a performance on the American Indians songs with the famous ethnic-rock group "Il parto delle nuvole pesanti". For the summer event "Scaliger concerts" she realized three plays of “contamination†by blending theatre and music: " Gramsci’s Ashes" by Pier Paolo Pasolini together with the band Acquaragia Drom, "Veiled Stars" by Tahar Ben Jelloun with the band Zyriab, "Eastern Europe Jewish writers" with the jazz group Full Metal Klezmer ( Zeno De rossi-drums, Roberto Lanciai-sax, Matteo Ederle-keyboards, Fabio Basile-guitars).
It is worth mentioning other works such as "From the Ashes" by Tahar Ben Jelloun where the crying of the innocent victims of the Gulf War melts with the original sounds of Tu Whit Too Woo Trio and " Songs of the Shamans" with Roberto Zorzi on guitar, Stefano Benini on flute and Massimo Rubulotta on percussion.
She took part in the play "I came full of anguish to gaze at you†about the scenic writing from the Short Moral Works by Giacomo Leopardi, in the roles of "Fashion" and of "Moon" as part of the celebrations for the bicentenary of the birth of Leopardi. She collaborated with the blues guitar player Rudy Rotta in the presentation of the record “Rudy Rotta and friends…In an Evening of Blues and Reading… Telling the True Soul of the Blues.
She presented the opening performance for the Food Safety Authority (Efsa) by playing at the beginning of the event, Ode to Joy, by Friederich Schiller, accompanied by the orchestra Athestis Chorus & Academia de li Musici directed by Maestro Filippo Maria Bressan, as organized by the Association Terre Verdiane, by the province of Parma and the Emilia Romagna region.As a director and an actress she has performed the play "Different Eyes" inspired by texts from the Holocaust for the review "We Were Not Like the Others" along the traces of the Jewish popular music and of the Spanish east: Klezmer and Sephardite songs, with the musicians Vladimir Denissekov - accordion / bajan and Janosh Hasur – violin, both known to the public as soloist musicians with Moni Ovadia’s orchestra. “Homage to Micheal Petrucciani†at the Manerbio Jazz festival, where she was also the presenter for several editions.
She realized the project “Village Vanguard Livesâ€, a homage to the famous jazz club in New York, on the life and works of those musicians who were responsible for making jazz popular. She was the theatrical director and acted on stage together with trumpet-player Paolo Fresu (musical direction), his quintet and the singer John De Leo (Quintorigo).
The next works to come were “Ulysses’ Women in Jazz†and “Marlene Recounts†the “late night thoughts†and comments of Marlene Dietrich and “The Dreaming Charles Mingus†a show on the life of the great jazz double bass player, Charles Mingus.
She also teaches theatre, diction, phonetics and acting in Italian.
In 2007 she founded a new “artistic movement†called “Manifesto di Reading†along with pianist Stefano Bollani, trumpet player Paolo Fresu , singer and author Joe Mauro Ermanno Giovanardi, actor and writer Alessandro Bergonzoni, trumpet player Fabrizio Bosso, singer Elena Ledda, saxophonist Daniele Scannapieco, saxophonist Rosario Giuliani, singer and songwriter Gianmaria Testa, writer Enrico Brizzi, musician Gianni Maroccolo, and singer and Musician Cristiano Godano.
