Late night card game's, grown folks laughter, the smell of liquor, and cigarette smoke in the air! October 10,1981 Rocky Mount, North Carolina my journey BEGINS! I was born to the parents of Anthony & Jennifer Dillard. At the age of one we relocated to Roanoke, Virginia and at the age of three my father walked out and left my mother to raise five kids on her own but, with her still being young and being a single mother was too much for her to handle, that left me temporary in foster care. About a year later I was reunited with my mother At a young age with the Passion and Ambition I did not want to give up like my father so at the age of 11 yrs old in the streets of Roanoke Virginia known as the " Noke Town!" I started selling drugs, and became a Juvenile Delinquent up to the age of 14 yrs of age.When I was finally released my mother was being shipped off to prison only left me with two options either go with the State or move to North Carolina with my grandmother. You know the old saying " Time Waits for No One!" and with money on my mind, about three outfits to pack up I had no time to waste I moved back to North Carolina.Being a High School drop out it didn't take me long to finish my education in the streets but, soon after while with change in my heart the streets didn't last long that's when I met my first love.At the age of sixteen 1997 I found out I was about to become a father and just when I thought things was going right for once in my life; my grandmother was leaving for Alaska, and my father who magically appeared back up wanted me to move to Atlanta Georgia with him. I came this far with out him in my life so I thought to myself and said " I don't need him now" and with my grandmother leaving made no difference to me! but, she gave me two choices to leave with her or a guy that I knew nothing about. The choice was mines!!!December 3, 1997 9Ibs, 5oz's Eric Jr. was born! That was the happiest day of my life since I was released from Juvenile Justice seeing the gates open and thinking to myself " Their Is A God!" That is until things got rocky with my son mother and I and we ended up going our seprate ways but, that didn't stop me from being the father that I wanted my father to be to me.With no steady job I just focused on a talent I always knew I had MY MUSIC! but, that did not take long because like I said " Talent I Always Knew I Had!" but, all I had to do was come up with a name a GENUINE name something that I Knew would stand out, sound strong when being seen or heard! From that day on I came up with the name Hit Hard productions!Now 10 years later married with two boys that are my biggest fans I couldn't ask for anything more. Even though I done been through the worst of times from home to home my music was something that stuck with me through it ALL! And thats why I carried on the name Hit Hard Productions well as you all know by now H.H.P!!!
