Combining the talents and experience of Sister Che and Treesha Wisdom (aka Mama Trees)
Sister Che has been gracing the airwaves of Fremantle for the last 10 years on their reggae radio show. Her live performances have included the solar eclipse festival where she was a pioneer of reggae chill out zones for the Perth new trance scene, Da Seaview Reggae Lounge, and South Beach Reggae party which has become a regular feature of the Fremantle Festival over the last 10 years.
Treesha Wisdom began her reggae career at 6UVSFM on Vershun Galore, and continued on radio with Jamdown Vershun and was the creator of the Powerjam show on RTRFM. Link here - http://www.rtrfm.com.au/presenters/TreeshaWisdom
Treesha was involved in putting on Perth largest ever (to date) reggae concerts,the annual Bob Marley Outernational Day. Treesha began MCing in the early rave days at legendary raves such as Delicious, Time, Nightmare, and at the Monday madness nights at The Firm. Working as a photo journalist in Jamaica, Treesha has met, interviewed and photographed reggae artists such as Delroy Wilson, Toots Hibbert, Alton Ellis, Tommy McCook, Prince Jazzbo, Capleton, Dennis Brown, Freddie McGregor, Gregory Isaacs, Coco Tea…..(too many to mention). Treesha has recorded at Leggos Studio in Kingston with Horsemouth, Bagga Walker, Jah Dee, Eric Frater and George Faith. She has also recorded with legendary dub producer Jah Shaka. The dub club at the Greenwich Bar was a showcase for her vocal talents. In 2002 with Jah Wisdom Treesha played in Melbourne in a clash against Chantdown.
