General justice was born in Chappeltown Leeds Yorkshire U.K Arriving in australia at the end of 1978 .A few months later Bob Marley visited perth an tha general was lucky enuf to meet the Tuff Gong
In july 1979 ,General Justice started Australia's first weekly reggae show on 92.1fm [rtrfm.com.au ] and named it Jamdown Vershun Galore and west australias first sound system the Vershun Possee. In 1982 Peter tosh played perth an general got an interview with the bush doctor Traveling to Jamaica in 1984 General recorded award winning 6 part radio doco called "World of reggae music". With interviews and live recordings in London , USA an Jamaica , featuring Alton ellis, Delroy Wilson, Denis brown, Freddie mcgregor, Gregory Issacs, Ina kamosa , Sly& Robbie Jimmy riley ,Aston Family man barrat, Prince buster,Bunny lee , Puma Jones [black Uhuru], Prince jammy [now king ] King tubby , Norman grant [twinkle bros], leroy sibbles , jackie mitoo, jah jerry , tommy mcook, Tamlins , Ernest ranglin, Theo becford, Mighty diamonds Jah uglymon,Prince jazbo, Bunny wailer , Bingy bunny, Rita marley, Cedilia booker [bobs mother] Rohan marley ,Uroy, I JAH man, King Sunny Aide and the King Yellowman plus many many many othersOn the same trip also clashing with the boogie man Jamaicas top DJ Barry gee on JBC and recording with the Roots radics at channel One then recording vocals with I JAHdon [Dudley Green] at king tubbys with a King Tubby dub " Dangerous times" on Corroboree records .Visiting bullbay Bobo camp and meeting EMANUEL an at hope road 12 tirbes meeting GAD and the great Mortimer PLANO meeting at sunsplash Since then General has visited Jamaica several times .

Jah Wisdom was formed by General Justice and a 18 year old westaustralian Mumma Trees in 1991 .Our first gig was in San Francisco at the Jamdown art centre in april 1991.Our second gig was in jamaica at Paradice above montego bay May same year when a 11year old ChinAmon joined mumma trees an general justice in JAH WISDOM . ChinA was a great talent and is JAH WISDOM for life !! ChinA stayed with us till 2001 when he was deported back to Jamaica and continues to represent JAH WISDOM back a yard as a loyal souljah.
Over the years,Jah Wisdom Sound has had countless Selectors/Djs and Mcs passin thru but with a core of General an mumma trees with great special respect to youth like Alpha T who joined at age 14 , Messy bee at age 15, kanga vibe at age 16, Jah clint at age 19 , Lord Liam at 19 and Miss Tickle at age 7. Sameway big up jamaican MCs man like Munchie man, Fudus ,Jabba, Wildcat, Busha dee an australian talent, man like lennox dread ,Drummie and many others who all served as souljahs in dis Jah army!!! Only one has ever been sacked simmo t ,many have gone on to form their own sounds such as Drummie an Earthlink, Jah Clint an Blackbelt and MummaTREE's an the mighty EMPRESSIONS
In Australia JAH WISDOM have shared the same stage as Jah shaka , Earl sixteen ,Bushman Linton kwesie johnson , Mutabaruka , Benjamin zephania,UB40, the Wailers ,Shaggy, Roots maneuver, the Jungle bros, Carl cox, Norman jay and twice with JAMES BROWN plus too many many others .Jah wisdom have played all the major festivals like big day out[ twice] good vibrations[a record 7 times!!!!!] Blues an roots , parklife Raggamuffin an many others!!
