my dream is to make all smile to be free of the illusions of the hidden face of consumer banking to give people there owen voice in a world of hidden volume and political gags and make one stranger a day smile i like wind from the sea wiled free mountains a real fire with hot freshly made coffee with friends of good cheer and company to talk the night away and a rocking good sound system to blow the cobwebs awayWhen I hear religious/spiritual people, (be they clergy, immanms, rabbis, monks, politicians, business leaders or anybody else) claim that 'atheism' is a factor in the 'moral corruption' evident in the overarching culture of selfishness and greed which we call 'progress' and 'consumerism' ……………..I think the following thoughts.I've never written them down before, so here goes.The represntatives of Organised Religions and various forms of 'spirituality' seem to me to constantly make claim for all the 'good' or 'moral' possible in humanity.Well get this, you believers : I love all humanity, and all life, equally! I always have done.I love nature and the great gift of life.I love these as an expression of my most humane nature, recognising the nature I am that also gives me all I need to be me. I do not need to believe or know anything about how all this has come to be, in order to feel this love, this respectful gratitude.Indeed, the understanding that exists, in aboriginal culture, and now emerging through green science in our culture, about nature and bio-diversity, only serve to increase my gratitude for such an astounding gift.I did nothing, absolutely nothing to craft this environment we call Earth that I find myself conscious in, and neither did you. Now that's a gift!My willingness to be helpful, loving comes not from any external source, though I depend utterly upon this Earth for my life. It is my choice, naturally, to be that way.To be otherwise would seem ……… churlish, to say the least.I was 'conditioned'. I was to a certain extent 'traumatised' as a child. I have experienced low self-esteem, negative behaviour patterning and much stress in my life. - heck at one stage I used to talk to the statues in the dusty dark chapels in the boarding schools I spent so much time in, asking why? looking for relief....and in spite of all that I always wanted to be kind, to show empathy and compassion. And to be honest in spite of that desire, I was often the opposite. Such is the nature of any creature kept in environments replete with ongoing psychological and physical damage.Happily, for me, I have had time and oppurtunity to heal, and good friends to hold me during my toughest times. Compassion is my choice today. And it is, always, my response to the great gift to life.And I hold that, that same willingness is inherent, in all human beings, and is so deeply a part of us that it has to be 'conditioned' out of us in order for us to carry out our 'assigned' roles in 'society'. Or traumatised out of our memory…Without exception, Organised Religions browbeat all their children in to belief, leaving them to be children who don't know, and can't know who they are, who look to externals for identity and direction and they do this as a control mechanism, and foul though it may seem, the religions are proud of this fact!All Organised Religions carry heavy sanctions, for 'sins', which they list in great detail, and for both heresy and unbelief, the worst possible tortures and murdering methods imaginable and have carried out those sanction at an industrial level - you know the phrase : religious war!If Organised Religion had any good to it, it would never be the subject or 'cover' for war.The same could be said of both nationalism and economics. War has no rational and is not rational. It is patahlogical.I am an naturalist atheist humanist in my personal philosophy. I despise Organised Religion, (there, I've said it!) the mass marketing of superstition, the methodical psychological crippling of children and the sentiment that say there is a chosen people, or a way of being that is superior....If you can recognise the innate nature as I have described, then those of you with religious faith will perhaps feel that your chosen or assumed religion may well enhance that quality for you, on a personal level.It doesn't. That innate quality can be enhanced only by being, and acting in that nature. And that is a choice. The nature is innate. The thing that gets enhanced is the Organised Religion, and that's part of the control. Their 'leaders' can point to certain people and highlight them, use them, to cover up the facts of their actions.If anyone reading this, and who holds a religious belief, does not recognise that the urge, the desire, the passion to be kind, to be compassionate and to experience empathy is innate, that person may well feel deeply offended by this.That is your choice.I mean no harm, nor do I intend insult or offence.I am simply speaking the truth.no matter how negative it gets i fined tomorrow is always cool .i eternally search in vain for what i can no longer explain disillusioned by the mindless bigotry of thoughs whom know better and coursed eternal pain and madness by the hate /greed filled eyes of thoughs who think thy are better but i still love life woman kind and jesters clowns and fools everywhere though suffer them sadly (being one myself) PERFORMANCE POET ARTIST AND GOFER/GRUNT member of staph an backbone of the synergy center camber well and hub member of the synergytuesday crew and founder of the fools bain project, always looking for photos to add to gallery to tell the story of the many projects places and people i have had involvement with! though i give off a air of confidence i am shy and fairly self effacing and to be honest suffer from a bad case of foot in mouth most of the time a warning i never no what i'm spelling i feel like a rock with a guiding light alone in the screaming storms that shape humanity's life, my universe is my mothers gift and fathers inspiration and the ever evolving human advancement into universal consciousness that crosses all bounds is my play ground i like to no what other poeple think of my ramberlings in my blog feel free to criticizes or complement or both we all have freedom in that
