About Me

I like being alive... I'm first and foremost a treeman, I found my place in the forest and it's just perfect... where I'm supposed to be, but then came poetry... the way to describe all these notions that drift around me like falling leaves, the way to give back some of what i receive from my trees... I've been performing my words for three years-ish now, since being 'diagnosed' :O) a poet by Spacegirl.. and the world has become more beautiful since I accepted my place.. (It always does) What I'm about is Family and Love... I'm lucky to be the father of Jack Leon (9) Tyfi-Willow (2)and Taliesin (nearly a 1/2!)and the step-father of Tomos (6) and my life is, above all else, to make their life a better one to live.. There is other stuff but I'm not really into the whole internet identity thang...

My Interests

Family, Friends, Nature/Tree-related subjects,Poetry, Music, Philosophy, Booze... Martial arts (mostly theory...) and other stuff I can't be arsed to write cos writing these 'profile' things always feels like a job application to me.. or a dating type thing.. and I don't need either.. am Totally in love, which you could rate as my number one interest, and totally in work, which you could rate as my... as... one of my interests...

I like...Jazz,Funk,Trance,most dance type stuff (so many categories...) Thrash metal, Hip-hop... i'm about as eclectic as a pawnbrokers...

Television:

Not by choice, But there is one at my house which I invariably watch, in the same way as i watch the flashy lights on fruit machines in pubs... (they may hold my eyes in their flickering temptations, but I am actually thinking about other, far more clever stuff...)

Books:

Yes...

Heroes:

Bruce Lee, Hunter S Thompson, The entire pantheon of Norse Gods, Rupert Brooke, My friend Dav, Louis de Bernieres, Umberto Eco, Ben Okri... (just realised, that this could become the 'books' bit.. considering most of my heroes are literary...)
