.. ..I'm an artist, i paint abstract landscapes and figurative paintings in a variety of different media.I'm currently based in Brighton.My paintings and prints evoke our timeless spiritual connection to the land and to nature,inspired by the melody that is entwined with my thoughts of my travels and how i feel now in retrospect. My Paintings are reflections on my travels in Australia and New Zealand,and being continually inspired by people, the landscape and music that surrounds me.I've recently been producing a series of limited edition prints through layering several of my paintings and sketches over the top of each other.With each print i sell i will give 25% to a local environmental charity. I recently traveled for 2 years round Australia and New Zealand inspired by the community spirit, the landscape the people and the artwork produced.Currently trying to organize an exhibition for the May Fringe Festival and looking into possibilities of auctioning off various pieces of work to raise funds for charity.If you are interested in purchasing any paintings/ limited edition prints, please contact me by leaving a message or alternatively [email protected] you are a band needing a design for an album cover or have another idea and need some artwork, then please let me know as i have about 2000 images and paintings to choose from.The past few years have been rich with meeting amazing musicians and artists at various festivals throughout the summer, helping to run a solar powered stage showcasing a range of amazing musicians such as Martha Tilston, The Rub, Gadjo, Chicken Shed Zeppelin, The Don Bradmans, The Fridgemagnets, Mordekkers and Tarantism. Throughout winter I've been helping put on parties with the small world and helping out at the SE1 club for Synergy a festival in a club night.Six rooms of live music and trance, massage and healing,market stalls and cafes going on till 8 in the morning.Aswell as small world doing theie own parties in a more intimate setting with an amazing line up of bands and beautiful people every time.
During the summer i traveled about the festivals running a body art stall.All the designs are unique and inspired by aboriginal and Maori designs, all hand painted.If you require a body painter for an event or party or even if you're staying in and want to feel spruced up for the evening, send me a message.
I'm currently organizing a night called Stitch and Bitch at a local juice bar (Sejuice)based in Brighton(a free creative arts and musical jam night) (creative in any sense)We've had various musicians come and play to us whilst people paint, sculpt, knit, show their photography we have life models booked in and felt making its been fantastic to pool together a group of artists from a mixture of disciplines and to see people getting inspired.Our night has been going on for nearly a year now and every time its been good.We moved from Uddagunanas cafe juice bar to Sejuice, a Juice bar in Gardener St, in the midst of the North Laines most Wednesdays from 8-close.i'm currently looking for more places to exhibit having just finished two exhibitions one at The Indoor Market (the Old Post Office in Ship St)and upstairs in Infinity Foods Cafe.
