About Me

Andy Baron was born and raised in London. After many years as lead singer in various bands, Andy went to Jamaica to record his debut album "Believe in yourself" in 2001. His second gig in Summer 2001 was in front of 10,000 people supporting Steel Pulse, Morgan Heritage and the Gladiators. He made his television debut (2001) after receiving an invitation to perform as a guest artist on "The Hit Machine," - French national television's version of Top of the Pops.
He has also recorded with the legendary Mad Professor who in a recent radio interview described Andy as "a cross between Marley and Hendrix." What makes Andy so unique is his impressive vocal range and has to be heard live to be fully appreciated. Andy has performed live either acoustically or with a full band on numerous radio stations, universities, festivals and venues in Jamaica, France, Czech Republic and England. He has also supported the legendary Horace Andy and Culture.
Andy is currently recording his second album with Concrete Johnson. Check it out at the Andy Baron And Concrete Johnson Myspace
