QG Imperial is the first Brazilian DancehallReggae backing band which performs together with several artists. The group was formed in late 2004 and their line-up consists of Rafael 'Dumdum' (bass),
Lucas 'Alemão' (keyboards), Ras Daniel (guitar) and
FabrÃcio 'Jah Fya'(drums). QG Imperial plays several riddims (oldskool classics and new dancehall stuff) from Jamaica and other places in the world. They work with artists like Kandiman, Ras Bernardo, Jimmy Luv, Dada Yute, Lei Di Dai, Arcanjo Ras, Nabby Clifford,
Simba Amlak, Dubiterian, Jeru Banto among others through the
"Roots Ragga Reggae" project.
QG Imperial é a primeira banda de DancehallReggae do Brasil que faz suporte para diversos cantores.
