Hello Everybody:)))
I am Rakell, I was born in Brazil, and I lived all over the place, Spain, Jamaica and now I am in London. I grew up singing with my father when he was playing the piano, and listening to my mother when she was playing the guitar and singing... she always told me that she could not play, but she sounded so beautiful to me.
So I basically started to sing very young, but not professionally until I was 14, my first band.... My first show was a disaster... I never had enough rehearsal and I never knew the lyrics that well... I just stood there and started to dance, but hey, the crowd loved it!
Since then I've been recording, performing, and just making music.
The first single I ever dropped, went number 1 for a month str8 on RETV Jamaica, that was nice!! This gave me a boost...
And right now, I am working hard on developing my style, and my career, taking the right directions, and trying to make the right decisions...
