Beard

Beard 5 out now! EMAP best music fanzine 2005!

About Me

Freaky folk and pop gone wrong - it's gotta be Beard!

A Glasgow based publication, we basically write about what we fancy, whether it's underground indie, punk, folk, metal, noise, electronica, avant-garde or pop. Inclusive and eclectic, the only things we oppose are mediocrity and elitism.
The long awaited Beard 6 is out now, starring Vashti Bunyan, Silver Jews, Howe Gelb, BMX Bandits, Jeffrey Lewis, Gay Against You, Danananakroyd, Kaz, and more!
Issue 5 is still available, featuring Neil's fantastic interviews with two of our greatest heroes - Robert Wyatt and Shirley Collins.
For orders message us here or email us at [email protected]
Also available in the following fine shops (with more stockists to be added):
Monorail, Kings Court, Glasgow Analogue Books, Grassmarket, Edinburgh Missing Records, Argyl St, Glasgow Hitherto @ Tinderbox, Merchant City, Glasgow
We'll also be on sale at the Green Man festival in August.
Editors: Stewart Smith & Neil Jaques Myspace Layouts - Myspace Editor
