I deliberately played him with a cheerful bravado!

About Me

I edit the award winning "freaky folk and pop gone wrong" zine Beard. I attempt to play guitar in the mighty Older & Far Away. I'm currently "between jobs" but am doing a bit of freelancing and volunteering for Oxfam. Other projects I have planned are an album of Eno-esque soundscapes (well, one day...) and some schizophrenic noise/improv shenanigans with whoever's mad and foolish enough to participate. I kinda play violin, but am out of practice, and wish I could play keyboards properly. I like dancing to Rock Lobster, among other things. My favourite colour is red.

My Interests

Pop music! As you may see my conception of pop may be rather warped... Making pop music (of a warped variety on a variety of warped instruments) Dancing to pop music Writing about pop musicI do like other things too, such as:The films of Billy Wilder and Jean Luc Godard Books Art galleries Asian and Mediterranean food The Scottish Highlands Southern Spain Beaches (but not the film Beaches, god no!)
