I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

I'm a writer, editor, performer, alternative model, chronic dreamer and sometime actress. I have been a performance poet since 1996, and have appeared on stages as far abroad as New York, Chicago, San Francisco and London, England. I am the author of four chapbooks (Two Weeks of Silence... or a journey into chaos (1997), Legacy (1999), Bruises on the Inside (2001), the sound of one girl screaming (2002) and one full-length collection of poetry co-authored with Cynthia Gould, Some Words Spoken (2002). I spend my days as Associate Editor and Webmistress at Rue Morgue Magazine, and my nights wrangling my own micro press. I am currently working my second collection of poetry (The Sick and the Beautiful) and my first novel. I live in Toronto, Canada with my filmmaker husband, our dog Gunn (a Husky-Malamute) and our cornsnake Isis.
