About Me

BILL MAHER to BUSH: "Don't Question My Patriotism, Traitor!":I'm originally from Tompkinsville, KY, but now I live and work in Glasgow, KY. I live with my boyfriend and his dog, Paco (a chihuahua). I also have a dog named Carly (a miniature snauzer), and two rats, Daisy and Clover. I'm definetly an animal lover. I work for HUD/Section 8 housing. I've been doing that for about 8 years now. I'm also an only child, which does have its benefits, but it also has some drawbacks, too. At present moment I've got auburn-ish hair, but that's subject to change at any time...

My Interests

I'm a big movie buff, so naturally I watch A LOT of movies. My favorite genres are horror & exploitation. I also enjoy reading before bedtime:) I'm also interested in true crime, and I love horseback riding, collecting movie memoriabilia, canoeing, shopping, and playing on the internet!

I'd like to meet:

John Carpenter - He's my second favorite director. I've already met my all time favorite director, George Romero. I'd also love to meet Dave Chappelle, Joe Pilato, John Waters, Patricia Tallman, Bruce Campbell, Ken Foree, Carlos Mencia, Crispin Glover, Sacha Baron Coen, Joe Bob Briggs, Alice Cooper, Tony Todd, & John Morghen.

Music:

I love music almost as much as I love movies. A few of all time favorite bands/singers are Jimi Hendrix, Led Zepplin, Alice in Chains, & Depeche Mode. Other bands/singers that I love are Bob Marley, Leonard Cohen, The Doors, Fleetwood Mac, Goldfrapp, Twilight Singers, Nine Inch Nails, The Rolling Stones, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Pink Floyd, Stone Temple Pilots, Prince, Mary J. Blige, Cypress Hill, Santana, etc., etc., etc. The last concert I went to was Alice Cooper and The Rolling Stones in Louisville, KY. Needless to say, it was one of the best concerts ever.

Movies:

As I said earlier, I'm a big movie buff. My favorite genres are horror, sci-fi, & exploitation, and apocalyptic films. Some of my favorite directors are Stanley Kubrick, John Carpenter, George Romero, John Waters, David Lynch, Nacho Cerda, Takashi Miike, Joel & Ethan Coen, Ruggero Deodato, Michele Soavi, Lucio Fulci, Neil Marshall, Oliver Stone, Wes Craven, John McNaughton, Brad Anderson, Lucky McKee, Quentin Tarantino, Pier Paolo Pasolini, Martin Scorsese, Peter Jackson (pre-King Kong), & Stuart Gordon. Naturally, I have a shitload of favorite movies. These be them:

Television:

My favorite shows on TV right now are Nip/Tuck, ER, Deadwood, South Park, Rescue Me, & My Name is Earl. These are my "cannot miss shows". I also enjoy some of the documentaries that are shown on MSNBC, like the "Lockup" & "Coroner" series, MSNBC Investigates, To Catch a Predator, Dark Heart Iron Hand, & Hollywood Vice. I also like American Justice and Investigative Reports on A&E. I also liked Chappelle's Show, Miami Vice, Oz, and Twin Peaks, & Da Ali G Show, but unfortunately they aren't on tv anymore. But hey, there's always dvds!

Books:

Some of my favorite authors are Max Brooks ("World War Z: An Oral History of the Zombie War", "The Zombie Survival Guide", Clive Barker, Jack Ketchum, Edward Lee, Jeff Long, Stephen King, Poppy Z. Brite, Thomas Harris, Richard Matheson, Ray Bradbury, William Peter Blatty, Richard Laymon & H.P. Lovecraft. I also love true crime books. A few of my favorite books are "The Hellbound Heart" by Clive Barker, "Gerald's Game" by Stephen King, "Red Dragon" by Thomas Harris, "The Exorcist" by William Peter Blatty, "The Girl Next Door" & "The Lost" by Jack Ketchum, & "Stiff: The Curious Lives of Human Cadavers" by Mary Roach.
