All history is of interest to the Historian, but he is particularly interested in the periods of Classical Rome, Europe in the Age of Reason and Enlightenment (17th & 18th centuries), and North American history from the French and Indians War through the end of the Indian Wars and the Gilded Age (18th and 19th centuries)
