If you have any questions about my past or my family's do ask I dont mindI Louis XVI, born August 1754, king of France 1774, third son of the dauphin and Marie Josèphe of Saxony, grandson of King Louis XV. In 1770 I married the Austrian archduchess Marie Antoinette. Shy and somewhat dull is how some whoud describe me. I prefer the hunting field and my locksmith's workshop. I also love to spend time with my children and have a good hearty meal with the family.(((some other history))) I ascended the throne 1774 and lets just say I inherited a realm of bankruptcy from the other kings of France. When I finally got crowned matters even got worse the economy was going down, crops were failing, and prices for food and supplies went way up. On top of it all I had to marry a foreigner which the French hated and blamed all the problems on her. In 1788, of course things get worse; I was forced to restained France's National Assembly which mainly feel powerless against everything. Around July, people stormed in put my family and I in prison. My family and I attempted to escape but we failed and put back in prison. Once I came back, I was put on trial for treason and other minor things.
