The Coquitlam Celtic Ensemble is based out of Place Des Arts in Coquitlam, British Columbia. It is a group of talented musicians from Coquitlam and surrounding areas. Under the direction of composer / violinist Claude Giguère the group performs a unique style of Celtic based orchestral music. The ensemble produced its debut CD 'Dusty Windowsill' in 2004 and together with its sister organization The North Shore Celtic Ensemble co-recorded the EP 'A Child's World' and the DVD 'A Children's Celli' in 2005. Both ensembles have performed together at festivals locally and abroad. Highlights from 2006 include The Mission Folk Music Festival in BC, Canada Day Celebrations in Ottawa and the Aberdeen International Youth Festival in Scotland.Tam Lynn's Reel
