I started learning the Scottish Highland Bagpipes at the age of 8 and participated in both solo and pipe band competitions for many years. At one time or another I picked up a few other instruments; Scottish Small & Border Pipes, Low Whistles and edged a bit more into traditional music. Over the years I have been lucky to perform & record with great people such as; Spirit of the West, Stephen Fearing, Ottawa Valley Fiddler - Ashley MacLeod and 4 time world pipe band champions - Simon Fraser Univiersity Pipe Band. Currently I live in Port Coquitlam, British Columbia (near Vancouver) on Canada's West Coast.
