About Me

If you spam my page maliciously, you will be deleted!!

..
My name is Jennifer L. Miller. friends call me Jenna, some still call me ~The Shewolf~. I am a mother and a lover first, a dedicated student second, and an intriging author third.
I have three beautiful children who are my inspiration. Everything I have done, and aspire to do, I do for them. I I have a wonderful man whom I love and adore, therefor I am not "on the market", so random guys lookin for love, can just keep on a lookin'!! I am currently in college, and have precious little time on my hands.
I am a published author. My first book Speaking With Shugaan is available to purchase at Amazon.com Speaking With Shugaan is the first of of four books in the fantasy adventure Hinothian Crystal Series. It follows the young Wizard, Aaiden, as he learns to control his magic, and quests to find the magical creatures of Hinothia to help him in an upcoming battle of good vs. evil.
I also have a short story in the totally awesome horror anthology, Concrete Blood. Dark Water City is my addition to this series of dark tales from authors Erick Enck, Cassandra Lee, Dave Rex, Troy Barnes and Jordan Bobe. Dark Water City is about a kick ass band with an ex-member who has murderous intentions.
All of the stories in this anthology are terrifying tales. Each one is unique to the horror genre in its own way. This book is addicting. You can visit the Concrete Blood Page to find out more about the book and each of it's authors.
Having read Concrete Blood in its entirety a few times now, I can guarantee a good read. You can purchase this book at: Lulu.com believe me, it's worth it!
As if all of the above didn't keep me blinded with business, I am also the co-founder of the highly successful MySpace group, Word Weavers.
We currently boast over 1,000 members who are in some way a part of the writing community. We feature authors, highlight excerpts, review books, and offer an awesome Author Trading Card Program. Please check out Word Weavers Anthologies where we publish a genre specific anthology every couple months. We are always on the look out for new and exciting works of all genres!
You can find out more about Word Weavers and what we are all about by clicking to go to: The Word Weavers Website or our MySpace page: http://www.myspace.com/weaversofwords
The First Annual Word Weavers Compilation is the first of many of Word Weavers finest authors. There are several short stories and poems of all genres. Again, I have read this book, and I really enjoyed it.
My contribution to this book is a sci-fi tale entitled, The Dissappearance of the A.P.E. Project. It is essentially a part of the prequel to the Hinothian Crystal Series. The story is all about a missing exploratory team, and also the mysterious disappearance of the planet they had been discovering.
Aside from my story, you will find authors M. L. Chesley, Jane Timm Baxter, Eric Enck, Sean Harris, R. M. Hamilton, Cassandra Lee, Bev Walton Porter, Dave Rex and many more! You can purchase this book at: Lulu.com You will get your money's worth!
In additon to everything else, I have a few short stories out. The first are in Darkened Horizons. Stories include, a twisted tale detailing the way of the Reaper titled, Mother of a Reaper, a werewolf story told from the aspect of a wolf, named, The Shewolf and a shapeshifting story with Native American roots, called, "Slither".
Darkened Horizons upcoming website will be at http://www.darkenedhorizons.com . They will be accepting horror and sci-fi submissions until further notice. For more information you can check out the blog of: Jordan Bobe one of the minds behind Darkened Horizons .
Wait! There is more. I am currently working on a horror novel with the poet of gore, Jordan Bobe as well as contributing to another of his novels. I am also working on a sci-fi-ish novel with author Jerod Twiford, and continuing to plug away on the second book of the Hinothian Crystal Series. I will also have a 7 part short story entitled, Repercussions in the Twisted Twins Daily Chills Calender being put together by horror master D.W. Green.
Several other publications I will be in this coming year: A featured Lady of Horror in The Word Weavers 2008 Ladies of Horror. I will also be editing, and writing biographies for The Word Weavers 2008 Gentlemen of Horror.

Shout outs for "Shugaan"
"Jennifer Miller's Speaking with Shugaan is a wonderful story! Miller has created another world within the pages of this book. Shugaan is filled with action and adventure...a fantasy-lover's dream! I look forward to more from Miller and from the Hinothia series." Rebecca Benston, Author of In the Wash: The Rona Shively Stories
"The journey Jennifer L. Miller takes you through has wonderfully smooth transitions with the right amount of adventure to keep you wanting more. She pulled me in and kept the reading fresh and exciting so that I was left wanting more and couldn’t wait to pick up the book and continue where I last left the daring adventurers. It has been a long time since I became so engrossed in a fantasy book and am glad it was this one that returned me to my one true love of fantasy reading." M. K. McWilliams, author of: An heir of Mystery: Book One of the Age of War

CONCRETE BLOOD - AVAILABLE NOW!
CONCRETE BLOOD
Welcome to the Concrete Jungle
Strange noises seep from under the neighbor's apartment door. Something snickers, scampering beneath the subway platform. An eerie, low voice beckons from an alleyway. A nightclub screams with more than music.
Concrete Blood delivers twisted tales from the minds of talented authors: Eric Enck, Troy Barnes, Jennifer L. Miller, Cassandra Lee, Jordan Bobe, and Dave Rex. Together, they offer a one way ticket to the city's darkest secrets. Where fear and terror rule the glittering steel and the concrete runs with blood.
