About Me

Hi and a big WELCOME to my page. I am a proud mother of 2 that is happily married to a wonderful man since 1992. I am a stay at home mom that also has my own web site. (www.thegildeddragon.com) I like to read books and watch the History channel. I also like crocheting, drawing, working with ceramics, ridding horses and my pets. My family and I love exploring new places and things as well. Makes for good family time.
I am a nature nut so I am totally comfortable in wide open spaces. I love horses and castles and hope some day to own my own ranch with a custome designed castle on it. I love the renaissance era. I also like to cook some of the things that I read about.
My husband and I would love to visit Scotland to explore the castles and all the great land, art, buildings and people.
I love the rain, snow and a quiet evening at home with just the candles going and reading a good book or hanging with my myspace friends.
Well, Im sure there is more. LOL Cant think when Im on the spot. LOL Well, bye for now and THANK YOU for visiting my page. Take Care.
~Blessed Be~

Not My Granie!:

The granddaughter of the "last person in Britain to be tried as a witch" has vowed she and her family would never give up the fight to clear her relative's name. Helen Duncan, of Niddrie, Edinburgh, traveled the country performing seances at which she claimed to contact people killed during World War II. In 1944, she was convicted under the 1735 Witchcraft Act of "pretending to raise the spirits of the dead" and sentenced to nine months in jail. Her granddaughter, Mary Martin, applied in 1999 to Jack Straw, then home secretary, for a posthumous pardon. Straw refused. Legend notwithstading, Duncan was not the "last person to be prosecuted under the Witchcraft Act." It was invoked as late as December 1944, when police warned Emily Johnson of the Redhill Spiritualist Church that if her activities continued she would be liable to prosecution. The charge must have stopped -or slowed down- her "activities," as no trial record exists.

Death By Fairies:

A document listing deaths from 1656 to 1663 in the parish of Lamplugh, Cumbria, was found in archives as part of a national campaign to uncover treasures of local history. The single sheet of paper from a parish burial register paints a gripping and sometimes comical picture of England in the mid-seventeenth century. Four people were "Frighted to Death by fairies," according to the verbatim report. Another perished after he was "Led into a horse pond by a will of the wisp." Cumbria county archivist Anne Rowe said: "I've never come across anything like it before. Many people have been terrified of fairies, but I'm not sure whether this list reflects ancestral superstitions or sense of humour."

~You Are A Gold Dragon~
You live in palaces in hight mountains(very very very hight!) You are one of the most beautiful dragons, and the purest too. You are a symbol of loyalty, justice and honnesty. You will help anyone in need and would only fight if your life was endangered. You can spit a chlorine gas, and fire. You are the stongest dragon magically talking but will use your magic for good only. You have shapeshifting abilities and you can eat anything, but you still have a preferance for fine gems. Nearly no man has set eyes on you.stone: gold (i know it isn't a stone really, but it represents you)you control:water, earth, fire and lives.quote:"Justice does not come from the outside. It comes from inner peace" from Barbara Hall
