~~~~~~A Reason, A Season, A Lifetime~~~~~~

People or animals always come into your life for a reason, a season or a lifetime. When you figure out which it is, you know exactly what to do.
When someone is in your life for a REASON, it is usually to meet a need you have expressed outwardly or inwardly. They have come to assist you through a difficulty, or to provide you with guidance and support, to aid you physically, emotionally, or even spiritually. They may seem like a godsend to you, and they are.
They are there for a reason, you need them to be. Then, without any wrong doing on your part or at an inconvenient time, this person will say or do something to bring the relationship to an end. Sometimes they die, Sometimes they just walk away. Sometimes they act up or out and force you to take a stand. What we must realize is that our need has been met, our desire fulfilleed; their work is done. The prayer you sent up has been answered and it is now time to move on.
When someone is in your life for a SEASON, it is because your turn has come to share, grow, or learn. They may bring you an experience of peace or make you laugh. They may teach you something you have never done. They usually give you an unbelievable amount of joy.
Believe it! It is real! But, only for a season. And like Spring turns to Summer and Summer to Fall, the season eventually ends.
When someone is in your life for a LIFETIME, it is to teach you a lifetime of lessons; those things you must build upon in order to have a solid emotional foundation. Your job is to accept the lesson, love the person/animal, and put what you have learned to use in all other relationships and areas in your life. It is said that love is blind but friendship is clairvoyant.

Practice for the new millennium by the Dalai Lama:

1.)Spend 5 minutes at the beginning of each day remembering we all want the same things. (to be happy and be loved.)And we are all connected to one another.

2.) Spend 5 minutes breathing in, cherishing yourself; and, breathing out cherishing others. If you think about people you have difficulty cherishing, extend your cherishing to them anyway.

3.) During the day, extend that attitude to everyone you meet. Practice cherishing the "simplest" person (clerks, attendants, etc) or people you dislike.

4.) Continue this practice no matter what happens or what anyone else does to you. These thoughts are very simple, inspiring and helpful.

~~~~~Karma~~~~~

If we are immortal spirits, then the body is only the "costume", the psyche is only the "character", and our soul or spirit is really the same "actor" playing a new character in a new costume.

The "players" and elements of the karmic "plot" are chosen before each reincarnation; but the play itself is subject to "improvisation" in "real-time" as the life-long drama unfolds and the players interact.

We can create a comedy or a tragedy, for we are writing the script as our souls come back to play a new role on this stage we call Space/Time.

All that matters is the choices we make.

Our choices and their consequences keep changing the reality we experience. Karma is just the consequences of old choices - old beliefs and old attitudes - which unconsciously create and re-create similar consequences, until we become conscious of them and choose to change them. In the ancient Sanskrit language "karma" meant "action". Karma is not a punishment but an opportunity to correct old mistakes and make our lives (and ourselves) better.

Free Will creates Karma and can change Karma. Our past life karma was created by exercising our own free will - that God-given right to choose for ourselves what we create in each lifetime. It's no less a right than a child's right to choose the course of his own life after he has been raised and guided by the human parents who created his body.

As children we learn from our mistakes. Who ever learned to walk without falling down a lot first? Karma is just uncorrected errors and lessons yet unlearned by the soul that came to animate the child's physical form.

As Werner Erhardt once said: "The Truth shall set you free, but first it might piss you off!" Karma is simply a persistent reminder to challenge us to perceive the Truth, even though we may perceive it as a thorn in our side. Karma is more persistent than our own stubborn refusal to see the ultimate universal Truths; so eventually we will learn the hard way, even if we refuse to learn the easy way. Often we refuse to change until it becomes too painful not to.

Only when we realize and accept that we are responsible for creating our own karma, can we choose to change it by making better choices this time around. This is the essential meaning of the old adage: "What goes around, comes around." What we chose in past lives is coming around again in this lifetime. We can get off the "wheel of karma" by making better choices when similar situations come up again.

~~~~~Reincarnation~~~~~

If you are used to thinking in terms of one world, one life, or one god, then to think in terms of there being many worlds, many lives, or many gods, will seem unreasonable.

Reality however is far more fantastic, far more manifold, than your reason could ever comprehend.This world you know is like a cosmic stage upon which the human drama unfolds, so that each man gets to plays out his role as he creates his life.

Each life and each role is always sacred, and always unique, but this world is not mans only stage, nor is this his one and only play. You posses more than one identity, in fact, you may be described as an inter-dimentional actor playing your myriad roles for the benefit of your greater soul, and all that is. You exist at this moment, in more than one world, in more than one time, in more than one role.

You may well understand the idea that time is relative, this concept is widely believed, yet this important discovery about the nature of time is really quite revolutionary.

Perception now takes center stage in the mechanics of working reality. Time becomes the handmaiden of the Mind. The mind is the great creator without which the universe would exist but without form or direction.

The world has yet to acknowledge the psyches sudden elevated status. The truth is that the human mind has the capacity to transcend times boundaries and express itself in many dimensions at once. This is the larger implication of the concept of time being relative.You are not subject to one time zone, you are instead the creator of many time zones, you can not be contained in any single form, or in any single time space continuum.

Reincarnation means to be born again, to return to the earth in many different historical periods and assume many different roles. Time and Space is the medium into which you are born, not once, but many many times.

Each of your incarnations exists separately and within their own space time continuum. Time is multidirectional and each moment is eternal. Your other lives are located in different historical periods and in different dimensions of earths time space continuum, yet your other lives do not necessarily follow one another in a forward marching time line into the future, nor do they make progress in the way you may usually think of progress.

Progress, outside of times usual context, is measured instead by the degree of focus of psychic and spiritual energy. All of your incarnations exist right now - in this present moment - all at once.

You are a multidimensional spirit who is also having the experience of being the three dimensional you, the you, that you know. The reason you identify with your present personality so exclusively is largely because of the intense concentrated focus you must have on your present life.

The truth is that each of you is composed of a group or a family of other personalities, each of whom lives separately, and within their own time dimensional framework. They live with the same material props as exist here and they are as focused on their own life as you are on yours.

Though they live in different dimensions they are still a part of your psyche, they are different versions of you which exist deep within you. You are connected psychologically to them, and they are psychologically connected to you.

In fact there is a specific area within the dream dimension where messages are frequently sent back and forth between you and your many other incarnations. In this portion of the dream state you often correspond telepathically with your most relevant incarnations.

In your dreams you thus learn from each others struggles and each others joys. You and all your thousands of incarnations add up to an eternal God among many other eternal Gods, a Star in the midst of a universe of Stars.

Each of you have accepted a cycle of incarnations in which you are given as many life times as you will need to fulfill your purpose. You are given the opportunity to choose your parents, and your future lifes challenges, and its historical setting, even before you are born.

At the same time you gave yourself a line of development of which you are intuitively informed throughout your life. Each of your separate incarnations thinks of themselves as the one and only you, and they would be as surprised to hear about you, as you are of them.

They are just as caught up in the day to day events of their lives as you are in yours while they are pursuing their own ideals within a world as real to them as this world is to you.

Though your incarnations all live separately and within their own dimensions, they are still bound to each other, and all are stamped with your eternal identity. Any apparent separation between them and you is merely psychological.

So in reality you are a crowd, a whole family of personalities, all of whom are sharing a larger psychic space which is your immortal spirit. Human consciousness does not behave like a thing or a material object, because it is really made of much more interesting stuff, spiritual stuff. It does not occupy space, nor does it take up time, and consciousness can be in more than one place at one time.

Consciousness is also capable of multiple cognition and spit awareness. Consciousness is able to divide itself into many facets of perception. Your incarnations are a part of you, they are the deep secret part of your psychic structure that you have forgotten is there.

In each incarnation you have absolute freedom of choice, though the tendency to create emotional and psychological patterns is evident in almost all cases. We are not bound to meet the same people life after life, yet because of the nature of attraction, this is what usually happens. Love is the binding force in all dimensions.

Your relationships will repeat themselves over and over again because of the overwhelming power of love. The system of reincarnation allows the vast energy of love within you to express itself in multiple cultural and historical settings.

To some people the news of reincarnation may be very frightening, as its hard enough for them to cope with one life and one time. It is important to remember that the life which you are now living is your most important incarnation, this life has great meaning and purpose for your greater soul and it should remain always your primary concern. Still mans curiosity is always driven to find broader visions of himself and reincarnation is a part of the psyche's structure which will not be denied.

You are your spirit, and all your spiritual faces are quite natural to you, your current identity is colored by these other versions of you in significant ways. if you could become more open to them there could be more direct channels of communication formed. I don't want to down play the role of the body in all of this, it deserves your respect as well, you are also your body and your identity is tied in with its structure in some obvious and in some not so obvious ways.

Your body is spirit made into flesh, when you are dead and back in total spirit you are both male and female but when you are in flesh the system of reincarnation requires that you try both sexes on, so to speak.

What sex you choose then helps to shape your identity and destiny, your bodies form and sex modifies your possible choices of probable futures. Some people will sometimes prefer one sex over the other, however there must always be adequate time spent as both sexes, because your over soul is made up of both male and female qualities, and these qualities can only be appreciated through the total immersion into one sex or the other.

Before the reincarnation cycles began you may not have shared similar backgrounds with other souls who were starting their reincarnation Al cycles, in other words, you may have come from entirely different dimensions when you arrived at the threshold of earths garlanded doors.

Some souls take to the human experience and some do not, some souls may simply have temperamental needs that earth life may not be able to fulfill. There is no particular mandate on the number of lives that you have to live within any reincarnation Al cycle.

Some of you will leave the cycle of earth lives more quickly than others, you will then seek out other dimensions which fit your particular temperament better. So you are not strapped to the mythical wheel of eternal return where you must spend several eternities trying to figure out how to get free again.

Freedom of choice is a precondition and a prerequisite for life to exist here on earth, and so in every other dimension of reality as well, this freedom is the foundation of all life.

When you try to apply cause and effect logic to the concept of reincarnation you are lead to assume that the deeds of a previous incarnation will have some sort of an effect on your current life, in the form of a reward or punishment.

You need to remember that time is a relative thing, that is, time is a matter of perception and velocity. In reality, the past, the present and the future, all exist at once, so any punishment, which is if you think of it is just another event, and so could just as logically precede any given crime as ante cede it, relatively speaking.

So outside of our three dimensional time references, punishment is illogical and even absurd. You are indeed affected by all of your incarnations, but the exchange of energy has nothing to do with our narrow concepts of reward and punishment.

You are not punished because you were bad in a past life time. Punishment is an erroneous concept that has been mixed up with the idea of reincarnation and with many other religious philosophies, this only serves to tarnish any of their original credibility.

The truth is always much more interesting, more surprising, more wonderful than religions tired dogmas. Through the cycle of reincarnation you try on many behaviors, like a great actor in a cosmic theater, you are learning to become a responsible co-creators with all of your conscious kinsmen.

Spiritual growth can come in no other way but through the loving creation of form. Secretly spirit needs matter, and obviously matter needs spirit.

Take heart, because the human spirit will never be annihilated, it lives on eternally. Even if the concept of many lives lived all at once is staggering to your imagination, it is really only half the story. Your consciousness defies all of your expectation, as it so efficiently, so effortlessly, creates this world and thousands of other worlds for itself, to be itself.

Take a bow, you are a star.

Spiritual refers to an individual's feeling/belief in something larger & intangible than one's self. Religion refers to organizations of people with similar spiritual feelings/beliefs intent on convincing others of the truth of those feelings/beliefs.

Spiritual people are interested in a personal experience of the spirit, and they find that the rules, regulations and rituals of organized religion don't do anything for their own spiritual experience.

Spirituality comes from within. Some say it means breath. It encompasses who you are and what you espouse. It involves doing righteous things with a sense of tranquility and purpose with a connection to all living things.

Spirituality speaks of your connection with Source while religion is more regimenting you. Religion speaks to the Guiding Self from outside judgment, while Spirituality speaks from the Guiding Self from within.

Religion was developed mainly around social cultures and traditions; it was mainly a way to influence social behaviors through the use of moral suasion.

Spirituality is a condition which results from being a good human and it is demonstrated by making the right choices in Life, that promote peace, love, respect, appreciation, accountability, equity and contentment.

The practice of spirituality transforms individuals into living instruments of piety and divinity, which they freely share with all of humanity.

~WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN RELIGION AND SPIRITUALITY?~

Spirituality comes from within you. Religion comes from outside of you.

Nothing or no one can give you spirituality. But many can give you religion if you allow them too.

The choice is yours.
