I am a retired engineer who would rather figure things out logically than emotionally. I am a wine connaisseur who has spent years travelling the world just to taste the local wines. I am a chess player who rarely loses well. My wife of 40 years passed away last year and it has been a very hard year for me.My four children have moved on to span the globe, one daughter, Anna, lives in Germany and teaches English on the University level. My son Greg is a a marine biologist and doesn't stay in one place too long. (I guess he is alot like me.) Sam Jr. works on an off shore drilling rig and my youngest little princess recently married a banker and they are expecting their first child in September.I play golf rather badly, but I like the exercise riding in the golf cart gives me.I do belong to a very nice bridge group called the Lonely 4 Spades and Hearts Bridge Club. Old bridge players never die, they just get trumped.I recently sold my home after Sarah died and moved into a Senior Citizens Retirement Village, but I think I am ready to move out and find a younger set of people to bore.Six months ago, I discovered the walls don't talk back. I didn't know that until I finally stopped and lstened.
