I move on like a sinners prayer. I let 'em go like a levee breaks. I walk away as if I don't care. I learn to shoulder my mistakes. I'm built to fade like your favorite song. I get reckless when there's no need. I laugh as your stories ramble on. Break my heart, but it won't bleed. I'm never sure when the truth won't do. I'm pretty good on a lonely night. I move on my way as the storm blows through. I never stay, but then again, I might. I struggle sometimes to find the words. I walk a line until it blurs. I build walls too high to climb out. I'm honest to a fault, but that's just who I am.
OK....Bottom line, I am happy and content with life....I spend my free time with my wonderful mom whom is my best friend....Onyx, the most beautiful and sweetest cat in the world....and Jason, the most loving and supportive boyfriend I have ever known....I am open-minded, non-judgemental and very talkative....I am a true liberal democrat (If by liberal you mean someone who looks ahead and not behind, someone who welcomes new ideas without rigid reactions, someone who cares about the welfare of the people and their civil liberties, someone who believes we can break through the stalemate and suspicions that grip us in our policies abroad, if that is what you mean by 'Liberal', than I'm proud to say I'm a Liberal!)....I believe hard work pays off and you get out of life what you put into it....tough times never last, but tough people do....it takes struggle, a goal and enthusiasm to make a champion....I have learned to surround myself with the people (and animals ) who love me and whom I love....

Albert Einstein said....â€œBuddhism will be the religion of the futureâ€....and I believe him....It is the only religion in the world that its' foundations of what we feel is truth being supported by science....When I began finding Buddhism...I also started taking an interest in the Dalai Lama....I watched and listened to him and saw his 'religion' working for him....It was very easy to be satisfied with Buddhism....look what it consists of -compassion and wisdom- all the things we love and believe....there is no reason for me to search anymore....I have found peace and contentment....I will still have problems of life as long as I live....I cannot escape that....but I will cope with them better now....my 'religion' works for me....this is my simple religion....there is no need for temples & no need for complicated philosophy....my own brain, my own heart is my temple, my philosophy is kindness.

My Interests

I wish that all the animals in this world received the love, affection and kisses that my Onyx does....then there would be no more animal suffering!

VEGETARIAN ~ A person who believes in peace, love, compassion, solidarity & health. A person who wants to end world hunger & have clean air, land and water. A person who wants to keep the rain forests thriving, who wants to save the world's resources & who wants to end the unnecessary torture and killing of innocent animals!

I am an animal lover and believe animals are superior to humans. Their love and commitment is unconditional.

I am attracted to clean, sweet & smart individuals.

I do not trust easily & I only confide in a few select people.

I enjoy reading about mystery, true crime, forensic science & crime scene analogy.

I absolutely love tranquility, wisdom, crisp fall days, snowy winter nights, being a woman, enormous belly laughs, daydreaming, the smell of fresh clean laundry, sleeping in late, wicca & its belief system, enchantment, incense & counting my blessings.

I no longer care about what others think of me. I am annoyed by dirt and germs, closed minds & ignorance.

The social issues that are currently on my mind is animal rights, the environment & having peace with other countries...America used to be one of the most admired countries in the world and now we are one of the most hated countries...this is thanks to our current President!

The person, other than my mom, that I admire is His Holiness The Dalai Lama.

The one moment in my life that I will always remember is the moment I awoke from surgery and saw myself for the first time. (Dec. 5th 2007...one of the best days of my life!)

If I were famous, it would hopefully be for making the world better for our children & animals.

If I could give advice, I would say...â€Do what makes you happy...be nice to all people and animals...Karma is real and unavoidable!â€

To me, Life is worth all the blood, sweat and tears!

Remember that a smile is an inexpensive way to change your looks....

As life flashes before me.....I try not to get caught up in it too quickly.....I sit back.....take a deep breathe.....and collect my thoughts!

I like to get lost in a good book.....

or get swept away in a great song.....

No matter what kind of day I am having, I try to take a minute and remember.....

Hip-Hop, Rap, all of the 80's hits, Soft Rock....pretty much anything with a beat....

Television:

Any program on CNN..Court TV (TruTV)..MSNBC..E!..& HGTV.

I am addicted to The Ellen DeGeneres Show, The Soup & 'Keeping up with the Kardashians' on E!...and my all-time favorite show to watch is Law and Order: SVU....

Heroes:

My Mom. She is the one person in the world whom I look up to...she is the most beautiful, the most compassionate, the most patient person I know...I can tell her anything...she is open-minded and non-judgemental...Can you tell that I love her?!?
