Joanna Strozis soloist, multi percussionist from Poland, who has finished Music Academy in Krakow in 2003, since that time she has found a new inspiration in Scandinavian Music and Culture. In 2005/ 2006 she has continued her musical development in the soloist class of doc. Søren Monrad, Henrik Termansen and jazz vibraphonist Morten Grønvald at Det Fynske Musikkonservatorium in Odense.Joanna..s huge interest in different aspects of modern percussion has led her to experiment with rhytmical and improvising music. She has been fascinated in the heritage and musical roots of traditional drumming from Latin America and the Middle East. The mixture of her experience in classical music field and her research in the world and jazz music. It gives Joanna an unique style and mood in all her performances. Joanna cooperated with Opera and Operetta in Krakow under performances of Ubu King and The Black Mask of Krzysztof Penderecki.In her active music life she focus on cooperation with different groups like : Via Artis Konsort, Angic Zorts Duo , Latin Jazz Group Descarga, DFM Big Band, the new music ensemble , Musikhøst Sinfonietta, ABAM Orkiestra.Joanna Has played in many different festivals like: Musikhøst Festival in Odense, Per NørgÃ¥rd Festival, Old Music Festival in Stary Sacz, Ludvig Beethoven Easter Music Festival in Krakow, International Percussion Festival in Krakow, Theater Festival in Morocco.
