I am in a relationship. But I choose not to divulge that on MySpace.

About Me

While in college in her home state of Oklahoma, Cindy Cornelsen studied Poetry and the French language. Realizing that these pursuits were too practical for her as a career option she chose to devote her life to show business and moved to Chicago. Since that time she has become a regular on the comedy scene, with stand up appearances at several of Chicago's comedy venues including Barrell Of Laughs, Kitty Moon, The Note, and Cigars and Stripes. Her comedy has been featured regionally at Jokerz Comedy Club in Milwaukee Wisconsin, the Black Bear Casino in Duluth Minnesota, Jericho's Comedy Club in Eau Claire Wisconsin, and the Royal Theatre in Fairview Oklahoma. She has become quite well known for her original comedic songs and the dark, intelligent point of view in her stand up sets. A trained actress with an operatic singing voice, Cindy recently appeared in the world premier of "Diner Tales" at the Raven Theatre in Chicago. She has sung professionally in numerous venues and churches, most of which would excommunicate her if they knew what was running through her mind as she sang. Cindy studied Improv and Sketch Writing at the Second City, and was a core writer of the sketch revue "Someone Get A Grownup" which premiered at Donny's Skybox Theatre. Cindy lives in Chicago in a spacious mansion. A resume with full credits is available upon request...
