I am a working stand up comic and writer who is based out of Chicago. I am married to Connie, and have been since 1983...We have a spiritually adopted daughter named Jessica who came to us from Katrina, and another wonderful young spirit daughter named Heather, both of whom are attending college here. We also gots 2 kitties named Tipper and Hillary....I was born and raised in Buffalo New York and am the youngest in an Irish Catholic family of 8...I have been published as a poet and as a humorist. The humor books are called "Life: The Final Frontier" and "Seize The Day Job" both of which I co-authored with Carl Kozlowski. You can find "Life: The Final Frontier" on Amazon these days and even in some bookstores. "Seize The Day Job" is set for a late fall release in 2007 and will be available at Powell's Bookstores and on Amazon. I was the featured writer in the Spring 2005 edition of Willow Review, they published 10 poems and an interview. You can ask me for a copy and I'll send it along, autographed even. I have had four plays that I've written produced professionally, most recently "Diner Tales" at Raven Theatre in 2006, which received a Jeff Recommendation (which is a big deal in the Chicago theatre scene...) I've been touring as a stand up since 1991 and have done some television as such...I teach stand up comedy (writing and performance) at the Improv and at the Chicago Portfolio School.
