I'd like to meet:
Effective on midnight, 5 OCT 07, Doc Quack’s MySpace page has this policy change: No more “friend†add requests will be accepted or even read. No more email from strangers will be opened. The on-line clinic is closed to all other than invited parties. Yes, The Quack has gone totally anti-social which is the inverse of MySpace culture. Sorry, but that’s just how it is. There’s such a thing as making oneself too freely available, too easy to know, too easy to communicate with, and too eager to help. It’s distracting. There are plenty of archives to learn from here and at www.MolecularDyne.com.
I USED TO collect MySpace "friends" of all kinds (yes, even the controversial ones -- the crazy Right Wingers and the crazy Left Wingers, un-American sorts, rabid patriots, anti-Christian bigots, serious Christians, medical potsmokers, you name it) because schmoozing is the thing people do here. Keeps my view to things broad. However, MySpace truly is an exercise in modern narcissism. Email and virtual worlds, while having many advantages, are no substitutes for in-person communication. It can rapidly lead to misperception and miscommunication -- particularly where dealing with the functionally illiterate and insane often floating around in cyberspace while trying to connect with each other. Just ain't the same. Answering emails can rapidly become a full-time job and I can't do that.
Mostly, I set up this site to mingle with various cancer patients
that I help now and then (THAT AGENDA WITH MYSPACE HAS SINCE BEEN TERMINATED; HUMAN CASES ARE BEST WITH IN-PERSON FOLKS. HOWEVER, I AM ALWAYS RECRUITING CANCEROUS DOGS & CATS ON-LINE FOR QUACK R&D). Not everyone can go to support groups when they're
down sick (PLENTY OUT THERE ON-LINE. I SUGGEST INTERNATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF CANCER VICTORS & FRIENDS, ALWAYS).
The field of Integrative Medicine (minus lots of the voodoo and applying only
the best of what's out there)is my quack area, but more so in a far-out field called Advanced Classical Homeopathy. Since falling sick and having my life saved by quacks, the miracle of Homeopathy really struck me. Later, I realized the tremendous counter-plague and medicinal mass production utility of the field. Cancer research also became a secondary and hobby interest in homeopathy, but the field deals with most woes of General Medicine, too.
Thus, I'm often into all of it. Not really a clinical homeopath, but mostly an R&D one and contract scientific advisor assigned to the issue. Of Homeopathy, it cures about 32% of the time in Liver Cancer, to 54% for things like Leukemia, and to 86% of the time with easier Oral Cavity tumors -- depending upon how close to the core of patient strength the disease pattern entrenches. Usually, the harder cases have multiple and complex pathology issues very difficult to counter.
I figure out how
to blend the best from that field into the best of what presently exists, so
that we can someday see an overall improvement in the statistics -- particularly
in the worst of them like Liver Cancer. Achieving something like 60% cure in
Liver Cancer -- and that is not at all impossible to do someday soon -- would
save many, many lives.
...So, I mingle with a variety of radical medical doctors,
scientists, and also quacks who aren't so crazy. Always looking to know and
learn from more: Oriental Medicine, Hindu Medicine, Classical Homeopathy,
Natural Medicine, Orthomolecular Medicine. Conventional Medicine is down at the
bottom of favorites but, once in a blue moon, you bump into great M.D.'s rather than idiot ones.
I also like to mingle with Aviation sorts -- mostly pilots --
because my counter-plague interests in medicine also overlap with strategic airlift
considerations. It's always good to have a list of civilian pilots around the
country able to call up for special aeromedical ops if ever needed someday.
Distribution of rapidly cranked out medicine to the cities, essentially.
For example, in my local area, the population is over 63,000 people. If a mutated Bird Flu or Super Flu strain ever broke out nationwide, myself and some mathematicians estimate just a few days for about 50% of the cities and outskirts to be down sick and dying. On Bird Flu, about 51.1% of those stricken would be dead in a week. That means, in my local area, there's nobody out here but me to handle close to 32,000 patients. Local hospitals would be sapped and dying themselves. Supplies cut. Roads blockaded.
Spooky, impossible mission? Not really. I can handle that job almost overnight with about 400 volunteers and around 50 gallons of medicine cranked out among recruited slave labor. Even my ranch geography was planned for that purpose and serves as an emergency landing zone/ reserve hospital site which can be constructed almost overnight. In my region, we have over 1,093 single engine aircraft to call up, 153 multi-engine, 11 jets, 12 helos, 29 Blackhawks & Chinooks, and others. Less than 25% of those birds can be expected operational if needed. To extend our reach requires continual and growing manufacturing ops and volunteer pilots & aircraft in each region.
The state of California would require around 566 gallons of medicine produced near overnight on just a first batch. It's being worked upon at many levels in this country, but, as is always the case, government botches things and civilian volunteers must carry the bulk of the work.
Defending the Republic against future germs is a grass-roots effort at the core -- both in secret and in the open. And, I exist in the open -- perpetually recruiting quacks and potential volunteers, too. The vision is that of a volunteer "Continental Quack Command" which is mirrored as an exact adjunct to the Civil Air Patrol national, state, and local structures.
In an emergency, if called up, we just merge the two and toss a quack in each bird if able or at least regionally and locally. The devilish conspiracy is that we just plot to save only California -- home of the fruits and nuts! That's downright terrifying to think Liberal California might actually crawl out of the rubble first, and so it fosters healthy competition among the other states to replicate our work!
Can such a program stop Super Flu? Who knows! It's all theoretical and animal models until you actually engage the pathogen. Because we can't just experiment on humans willy nilly, I choose to invoke my own quack methods on reversal of existing acute to chronic ailments. Experience with cancer patients, AIDS patients, the common cold, wound healing -- General Medicine Quackery, mostly -helps better understand the quackery we love most.

What is
Homeopathy?
Even if you're already
familiar, this draft article covers
many of the historical problems with homeopathy, its
evolution, and its future. Dipshit Conservative Note: You might want to read a book by our beloved Michael Savage (Dr. Michael Weiner) called The Complete Book of Homeopathy. Dr. Andrew Weil's old book, Health & Healing, devotes his first chapter to the subject. Those books were good to me while sick. Thank you Doc Savage! You saved my life. "Try em Y Fry em!" :-) Best wishes to Russ with that adrenally-supportive, herbal, Rock Star energy drink. Just remember our quack doctrine: all things consumed too long become a poison. Moderation and little tickles here and there are best! Speaking of drinks: I'm overdue for a little Wild Turkey. This f'd up country is driving me to drinking, I tell you. Damn bastards make my bunny wabbit weep! ;-)

Homeopathy is not
"herbal medicine", by the way. Nor is it "natural medicine".
We simply study the medicinal effects -- toxic and

thousand materials are studied, though. Other pharmacologic
materials do exist just waiting to be
discovered!
