Ability in Disability serves to dismantle common misconceptions, stereotypes and generalizations about disabilities, impairments and delays. Our mission is to remove fears and communication barriers by educating children and families about the abilities of those living with disabilities. We provide interactive educational sessions for children ages 5-18, exposing them to various disabilities, their various causes and how people with sometimes severe disabilities manage to live extraordinary lives. We also provide families and individuals support, educational materials and whatever they may need to "get back on their feet by optimistically overcoming obstacles!" We also participate in the Joni & Friends Special Delivery Program, delivering bags of "goodies" to people with new challenges. We can visit your home, school, hospital, office or church. Ability in Disability is a 501(c)3 Non-Profit Organization.
