The Hillside Club, run by Crazy Jo, has been the main focal point for rockabilly and rock and roll since early 2006, when Jo noticed that the East Midlands was missing a regular rockin' venue.Formerly The Western Club on Derby Road and known for it's rock and roll shows over the past decade or so, the venue has a large dance floor, ample sized stage and lighting, well priced drinks, great parking and a fantastic crowd.
Crazy Jo arranges different rockin' bands in the area to play monthly shows at the club, and when possible, she arranges bands from further afield (Australia and Germany).Often there's a guest DJ or band on too, so be prepared for surprises when you visit!Crazy Jo's been into rockabilly and some rock 'n' roll and has been on rockin' scene for over 20 years!contact Crazy Jo:-
