Some like it Blue So there it was the beginning of April and what
do you know, it snowed, or hailed, whatever, it looked like
sherbet pips. So where might one venture to? Why up near
the North Norfolk coast, where the wind doesn’t ever blow does it….. Down at the Bluemoon Club in North Walsham were canny mint northern fellas Some Like it Hot were due to bring their mixed bag of ditties to East Anglia for the third time in a year(ish).DJ for the night was the dependable Eddie’s bluemoon
Record Hop, who played some top dance tunes, though the floor wasn’t that busy for a while into the gig apart from the stroolers (though I think that doo wop strollers that contain the words ‘bum bum bum’ are really unsuitable..). Some Like it Hot are a good tight band, take it from me folks, great geetar work on Link Wray’s ‘Run Chicken Run’ which opened up the second set and
some butt kicking vocals influenced by your favourite Sun and Capitol recording artistes. Very enjoyable night
at the Bluemoon.
