Rocking DJ: Some Like It Hot

About Me

First up folks, I'm not a member of the band by the same name, I'm Graham, aka(Rockin' DJ)Some Like It Hot. I'm also the guy responsible for starting and hosting the Darlington Rock N' Roll Club "The Engineers" which in some circles is known as The Arse Club (it's actually The ASE Club but I kinda like it, has a certain ring to it :) The Club runs on the first saturday of EVERY Month. OK, let's get serious for a mo, I have been a Rockin' fan since the age of 13, live it, love it, breathe it. I started out behind the decks over 20 years ago at a Club called The Dukes which started after the famous "Old E" packed up, unfortunately the owner at the time had his fingers in too many pies and I gave it all up as a bad job. Anyways, this last couple of years I've had the pleasure of helping out at Newtown, Croft & Busters and that's whetted my appetite again hence the reason for starting up The Arse Club. We're running the first Saturday of every Month and I've a band for them all (see my Calendar for details of bands appearing, I hope to have covered most tastes, I don't just want to be a Rock N' Roll Club or a Rockabilly Club, I want to try and cover all aspects of our varied scene). Come along and check it out, the more people that support it the more I can keep bringing these bands to the North East.
