Hot Rails are heading into the studio in early 2009 to work on their first full length recording. With the help of The BossHoss bassist, Guss Brooks, the band hope to put down a sound that captures their live energy and highlight their style of roots based rock and roll and blues.Discussions with local and international record company's to release the album are in place already, but nothing has been confirmed. The band are going to first concentrate on getting the album recorded before dealing with contracts, marketing and promotion.

he Josh" (vocals and guitar) has toured with Kick 'em Jenny, Jack Rabbit Slim, Johnny Law and the Pistol Packin' Daddies, Eddy and the Backfires and The Go Getters. He has played at such shows as Viva Las Vegas, Wintersun Festival, 20 Flight Rock, Cruise Inn, Hot Rod Hayride, Byron Bay Blues and Roots Festival, The Rockabilly Boogie Weekender and Screamin Festival to name a few. Quoting Ricky Lee Brawn from the Space Cadets "He reminds me of a young Boz Boorer...." Luton 2007. Now he has relocated to Dresden to work with Hot Rails on a full time basis.DJ Devil (Drums), Rockin' Raoul (Bass) and Mirko Rail (Sax/Vocals) make up the powerhouse trio supporting The Josh and have worked together for many years as the Lazy Boys.
