Making a name for themselves on the pub and club scene, with their own brand of energetic rock 'n' roll, The Unknowns repertoire covers a breadth of musical styles, from Ricky Nelson to The Stray Cats, from Nancy Sinatra to The Beatles.Front man Paul Barker's engaging presence is reminiscent of his Elvis influences, whilst guitarist Stuart Osbourne's animated and seemingly effortless techniques makes spectacular viewing.THe little lady with the big bass is Emma Goss, slapping out some intricate rhythms, while Huffy lays down a stomping drumbeat for the fans to dance to.Back in the 1980's Stuart was playing to crowded venues around London with the Guana Batz, promoting their various albums. 1989 saw the creation of Something Shocking, Emma's first band, and their debut album, Pink.
