I'm a saxophone player and composer/songwriter from Iceland, who had the good fortune to be introduced to jazz music at early age. In my childhood I was imbued with the music of guys like Dexter Gordon, Sonny Stitt, Sonny Rollins, among many other virtuosos all day long. These past years, I have been active in the music scene in Iceland. I have played in jazz festivals, toured with my own band and been a sideman on some recordings.
