About the beginnings of the BLOWOUT LOUNGE:
Renee Sebastian's BLOWOUT LOUNGE where you can "Taste emerging music before it bursts" is held every third Saturdays of the month. Since the inaugural event on April 2006, notable featured artists already include SP!T film star and spoken word poet Oveous Maximus, New York rapper and singer St. Juste, Danish soul-singer Jonas, and PJ Morton, son of Gospel legend Bishop Morton. Past guest appearances also include HBO Def Poet Mark Gonzales, HBO Actor and Poet, muMs.
When you are there you have an intimate connection with the artists. You want to be a part of this movement!
