Suite music began in the womb and flourished into song at the tender age of six. Looking up at a solid model, her mother a gospel singer Tedra, Cynethia Jackson, aka CJ Suite dreamed of singing herself one day. Naturally she began following in mama's footsteps in the church choir. She continued formal voice and dance training up into and throughout high school, landing choice gigs as "Sassy Sour kangaroo" in Dr. Suess' Seussical and as a vocalist in UNITY, a pop/rock band. By the end of high school CJ Suite branched out into choreography giving her more exposure as both a dancer and singer. Inspired by the precision of her high school drill team, CJ incorporated sleek moves with hip hop flava to create her unique smooth style. Now Equipped with the complete performance package, CJ began performing at various spots in her native Dallas metroplex. Venues included The Daiquiri Dump, Maxwell's and Rhythm City, 97.9 The Beat's Block Party as well as performing before American Idol at Texas Stadium. She won Dallas' K104 Eastfield Idol, and gained a larger access to recording execs and producers. Still local success was merely the beginning for Ms. CJ Suite. Destined for bigger things, she proved herself a driven professional by never resting on her laurels, but instead continuing to train and write, aiming for the next level. In fall of 2006 CJ met Universal Music Publishing Producer I-ROC. He saw a star in the making, finding a rare gem in the music business: a talented singer and dancer with a hustler's hunger. He knew all she needed was time to prepare and opportunity to shine. He gave her countless hours of studio time, writing sessions with other talented and eager artists, and vocal training with Houston hit makers. The result is CJ Suite, a sassy demo with polished vocals and body moving tracks. The goal is simple, gain visibility and press play, the rest for this new and refreshing artist is cool, relaxed, Suite music.
