Start planning now, and don't just think about yourself, we need to get as many high school and college students there as possible.The last convention went down in Chicago on July 20-23, 2006 and the first convention took place in Newark NJ, summer of 2004. National Hip Hop Political Convention Organizers and Partners attend the 1st ever, U.S. Social Forum, in Atlanta, GA.
Below is the 2006 National Hip Hop Political Convention held in Chicago, panel titled: When Everybody’s A Terrorist: Organizing in a Post 9/11 World. Panel included: Bikari Kitwana, Immortal Technique, Adrienne Marie Brown, Troy Nkrumah. I f you missed Fox News when M-1 from dead prez came on there and shut shit down. It was a beautiful thing and the only option they had was to try and use Mancow a washe up shock jock, to try and make jokes after M1 left. He had cats speechless.
