Andreas' Bio (written by both Gordon Parks and Ralph Ellison with foreword by Muhammed Ali)...
The bastard lovechild of Malcolm Little and Angela Davis was brought into this world as Donny Hathaway was recording “Young Black & Giftedâ€â€¦ apparently Andreas was the inspiration. At age 3 he toured the land penning Public Enemy lyrics on dusty record covers while inhaling the “Air of the Night†with Phil Collins and decided he should leave Genesis to the bible. Without a doubt he thanks God for waking every morning and God thanks him back when he finally lay to rest for the balance of good and evil is instead dreaming about NBA Live championships and the White Sox winning the world series instead of plotting the demise of BET and Al Sharpton’s perm. He calls Morris Day a “legend†and is convinced that the government scared the talent out of Eddie Murphy and the gangsta out of Ice Cube. One of his greatest accolades is during an intense session of Baseball Stars and deciphering just what Al B Sure’s real talent was, he mentioned to Lonnie Lynn to drop the “speedy rap gibberish†and craft something with meaning. Out of this came Resurrection. He was kicked out of grade school for prophesizing that the 2nd devil (Bush jr) would steal an election (or two) and that some guy named “Roy Jones Jr†should challenge him to a boxing match while still in his prime. Opportunity struck when he jumped out of the car Rodney King was driving, called Vince Vaughn "Money" and advised Bill Gates that the B-Box wasn’t a good name of a video game system and it should be named after Malcolm X... the strategy worked and now many of you are on your new "Malcolm X-Box 360" (they had to drop the Malcolm because of Copyright infringement). Morehouse was his school of choice but apparently it made sense to quit after overhearing Condeleeza Rice and Bill O’Riley snickering about extorting students and price hikes in between taking turns writing the screenplay to what would be known as Soul Plane.
Today he masters the art of running brilliant I formation plays with the 04’ 49ers (refuses to let go of Garcia to Owens connection) in Madden while obsessing over Graphic Novels, Japanese cinema and candy colored dunks courtesy of Nike ID. Convinced that UNLV sold out to Duke, he often roams the streets ordering Adios Muthaphukkas while stalking Anderson Hunt. Arguing that racism doesn't exist is futile because Andreas will point you to the World Wrestling Federation's constant use of stereotypes (although he still enjoys watching). He also believes that shiny objects were created by the devil to make negroes act foolish. Never known to weep, he gets quite sentimental when you mention the final episode of “Yo! MTV Raps!†("Classic Television" he says) Confident that “The Spook Who Sat By The Door†was telekinetically written by himself about himself in a former life, Andreas instead takes great honor in being able to choose your play in Tecmo Bowl without looking at your controller. He takes great exception to anyone who speaks ill of Boondocks and Do the Right Thing and understands that the ability score 81 points isn’t always going to win games (take note Kobe). He demands that Fab 5 Freddy is the greatest host ever and the demise of Lauryn Hill is a bigger unexplained tragedy than the death of JFK. To save women of inevitable heartbreak, Andreas choose another genetic freak whose IQ matches the year he was born. Forever doomed to several lifetimes of bad sex and bad luck (courtesy of all the broken chain letters) Andreas instead sold his gifts back to the devil and opted to pick up a pen and cause a calamity through his use of metaphors and verbs....
.. In dumbed down terms....
I'm a Activist/Journalist/Publicist/Local Chair of LVLOC (National Hip Hop Political Convention) I am the Executive Editor of Music at BET and you can catch my ink in The Source, Fightnews.com, Vibe (occasionally), 944, Dailyfiasco.com and Citylife.
Basically I'm a cat that is about change. From the music I listen to, to the movies I watch, to the clothes on my back it's all about change. When I tell you I'm about the "MOVEMENT" I'm serious....not BS-ing with you. The movement of the mind, body and soul. To make sure that the world achieves the balance it desperately needs. I'm tired of videos that are about the same thing. Here's a question...why can't black folk make decent movies? No more Soul Plane and The Parkers. People need culture and education to appreciate their roots. If you think that Lil Jon is Hip Hop....leave my page now. But if you want to expand your horizons further than rims, escalades, and tip drills (I like a tip drill every now and then but it's gotten ridiculous these days) get at me.
