Knight, born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, straight out of the East New york area of BK. knight has been rhyming since the early age of 13. At that time Knight was young, but was forced take on responsibilities of a man. knight's father walked out of his life at the age of 5, leaving his heart with unanswered questions. As Knight life began to take a different direction, he knew it was his job to take a stand as a young man. Since, then Knight has lived in city shelters and struggled to survive in society. While, his struggle lasted quite a while, he always found time to write true straight from the heart lyrics that people could relate too."Everyone, needs a hero, an example to know they are not alone." In the year 2001, at the age of 15 he lost his older brother in a car accident, and in 2003 lost his mentor to natural causes.
As a result, Knight used these experiences as a motivational tool to pursue and conquer the rap game. Therefore, at the age of 16 he began to show the world his talent. Knight has been exposed to talent showcases and has battled other artists in "Sickamores" rap battle showcases.Furthermore, Knight believed that battle rap was not the venue for him and so he left the battling scene and began to ONLY write hit songs for his career. However, Knight uses his rap battle experiences as an advantage towards his career. Thus, these performances gave Knight a green light as various artists co-signed him to be a true lyricist and to break barriers in the industry of Hip Hop music.
However, that was 5 years ago and Knight has Definitely developed since then. Knight has taken his life experiences and used them in his lyrical content. As a result, Knight reaches those who knows about the life of struggle, with his catchy hooks, his own lyrics and his ultimate goal to make only classic hits, and not just to make ordinary music. Along with Knight being lyrically inclined he also has the swagga that appeals to the ladies.
Recently, in July 2007 Knight released his very own 1st street album mixtape "Room 4 Improvement." Knight's mixtape is different from any other mixtape that is out in the streets right now or that has ever been released. Knight's mixtape shows true originality and a confident swagga that catches the ears of all listeners. Knight worked consistantly on this project along with his manager Ivory to allow the streets to get a chance to hear what they have been waiting for.
Furthermore, with hard work and perserverance things just continue to get better for Knight. Recently, in May 2007 Knight has found a new home with Solid Ground Music. Knight is currently working on new material, and artist development etc.to enhance his God given artistry. Solid Ground is definitely the place for Knight so stay tuned because Knight is bringing the X factor to the music faucets and its going to leak through the world.
