NW Hip Hop Culture- Jace, Blak, Khazm, Gabriel Teodros, DJ B-Girl Chillz, Dr. Daudi Abe, Silver Shadow D, Noni Shanay, Amos Miller, and Charles Mudede

We devote the whole show to the NW Hip Hop Culture Plenary which took place at the launching summit for the Northwest Radio Network, a newly-formed regional network for locally-rooted community radio stations from Alaska to Oregon. The summit to place Sept 15-17 in Seattle, WA. Moderated by Charles Mudede, the hiphop culture panel included Khazm 247 and Gabriel Teodros, who are DJs on Zulu Radio, on KBCS; Ferocious, Shadow Music Producer, as well as a performer and activist; B-Girl Chillz, from OseaO Internet Radio, Amos Miller, teaching artist, Aim For Peace; Dr. Daudi Abe, an instructor at SCCC; Noni Shanay, of the Coolout Network; Silas Blak Washington from Powerful Voices; and Jace Ecaj, of the Silent Lamb's Project. PepperSpray was there to cover the event, so check out "Indymedia Presents #224" to get the "what it is" on Northwest hip hop.Pepperspray Productions formed shortly after the WTO protests in Seattle, in response to the Independent Media Center's call, "don't hate the media, be the media".
