About Me

Amanda AKA BeLoved 01, is a dynamic, well-rounded, and experienced Professional Teaching Artist and Educator, who was born and raised in the 206. She has been dancing and Emceeing for over 15 years, and has been teaching/tutoring for almost 10 years. She has an involved, student-centered approach based on a combination of all the learning styles. In addition, she has been performing since the age of 8: among her many credits are performing as teen poet at Bumbershoot, acting as radio host and producer for over 2 years in both English and Spanish, and choreographing and performing Hip Hop Dance at the University of Washington. Amanda is currently available for booking and/or teaching/public speaking contracts. Her current curriculums include: "Express Yourself!- Hip Hop Dance," "Hip Hop Emotion Regulation: Life Skills Training," and "Word is Born: Hip Hop Spoken Word Writing and Performance."
