dRED.i
dRED.i is hip hop in it’s original state: the intelligence of the streets, the Hood, the block . Intelligence is judged by one’s ability live, love and learn within one’s own natural environment. We do not separate ourselves from our own people regardless of their state or condition. However we do separate our minds from ignorance by activating supreme intelligence.
WHO WE ARE NOT
“activists actors and actresses,
who write a couple lines on what Black isâ€...
Not backpack fundamentalism with it’s nose up to street culture, but a true expression of a thoroughbred.
From street science, to city science and high science. dRED.i builds on the foundation of Hip Hop being education and elevation. Hip means to make aware and Hop means to elevate or rise above.
dRED is fear.
I is self or the third eye which is one’s mind. The name represents the “I†moving through it’s fears and phobia’s to reach the higher self. OHM.
Have you have ever been dreaded, feared, shunned for how you look, how you dress, by the music you listen to, how you speak?
Than you know what we mean, we say dRED.i. At one time we thought this fear was due to our color, today we know it is a fear of the I of the mind.
dRED.i represents the unified HUMAN FAMILY and our dissatisfaction with the state
and condition of the world. But still appreciating the substance & refinement that is
the result of unity and looking within.
Today there are many disconnects. The old and the young, Man and woman, white and
black, republican and democrat, and the list goes on and on. It is not revolutionary to
just pick a side. To revolutionize something means to present it in a different way a way
that is new. This is the challenge for the children of the baby boomer's that find ourselves with all the necessary tools to build but no blueprint.
So this is why we say dESIGNED TO RECONNECT EVERYTHING DISCONNECTED to I.
There are 2 universal languages that all lifeforms use and understand:
1.Music
2.Mathematics
When we begin to connect the pieces of this mighty empire we see a clearer picture. Answer's that were unknown are known. Lies that have been passed down from
generation are cast out by the truth. People who have been taught lies and kept
divided are side by side working to solve common dilemma's.
Through information & communication people learn to understand and appreciate one another. We speak to our parents about youth issues, and build with
the young about our parents views.
We teach christian's about muslim's and muslim's about hristian's. We put facts in spaces that poor communicationand lies have occupied.
HIP HOP IS ON THE CROSS, BEING CRUCIFIED...
WE CAN'T JUST PUT HIM ON A CHAIN TO HANG AROUND OUR NECK..
TODAY IS THE RESURRECTION
