About Me
Celia Palli was born in Spain in a family of artist. It was clear that she was going to follow a performing career as she won her first singing contest at the age of eight.At the age of fourteen her family moved to The Netherlands, where she stayed for five years. In this period, Celia worked with producers composing for other artist. In 2003, she moved to Toronto, Canada, to study Jazz at Humber College. During these four years, Celia has studied with world-class musicians like Al Kay, Pat LaBarbera, Ted Quinlan, Trish Colter, Shannon Gunn and Lisa Martinelli. Also, she has performed with Dave Restivo, Collin Barrett, Mike Murley, Luis Mario Ochoa and David Virelles. Wanting to expand her musical knowledge and to find her roots, Celia took singing lesson from the famous flamenco singer Carmen Corpas. You can find Celia perfoming in places like Le Pale Royal, Lula Lounge, Dominion on Queen, Free Times Café, The Central, Trane Studio, Burlington Jazz Festival and the TD Canada Trust Jazz Festival. She has collaborated with the Samba Squad, Plan C and is the lead singer of The Cafe Ole ( www.thecafeole.ca )
